Great Games Without Internet

We play and write about mobile games you can enjoy on a plane, in the subway, or anywhere the connection drops. Our focus is simple: RPGs, puzzles, and simulators that run fully offline. Everything here is tested by hand before we recommend it. Casinacho Games — A relaxed collection of light minigames with a cheerful retro look and quick, pick-up-and-play rounds.

Emberfall Chronicle
RPG

Emberfall Chronicle

★★★★★ 4.7

Emberfall Chronicle is the kind of offline RPG I wish there were more of. You build a party of four, explore a hand-drawn continent, and fight in clean turn-based battles that reward planning over grinding. The story about a fading ember kingdom actually kept me up a couple of nights.

  • Deep turn-based combat with timeline ordering
  • Full story playable entirely offline
  • No energy meters or forced waiting

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick games we genuinely want to play, with a bias toward titles that work fully offline across different genres. Then we install each one and spend real time with it before deciding whether it earns a spot. If it secretly needs a connection or wastes your time, it usually does not make the cut.

Do developers pay you for reviews or scores?

No. Nobody can buy a listing, a rating, or a kinder write-up. Our scores reflect how the editorial team actually felt after playing, which is why some popular games get a lower number than you might expect.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, we read every suggestion that comes in. Casinacho Games is one example of a title we reviewed after a reader pointed us to it, so send yours to our contact email. If it fits our offline focus, it goes on the testing list.

Is there advertising on the site?

We may show light, non-intrusive ads to help cover hosting costs, but they never influence what we write or how we score a game. Editorial content and any advertising stay completely separate. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on the site.
