Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a gentle narrative adventure that puts atmosphere first. You wander a painted valley carrying a lantern, lighting paths, nudging gears, and piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. It is calm, a little melancholy, and lovely to look at.

The puzzles are built into the world rather than popping up as separate screens, so solving them feels like exploring. There are no fail states or timers, just you and the quiet. Everything is stored on-device, so it travels fine without signal.

It took me around five hours to finish, and I was happy to take it slow. If you like games that tell their story through place instead of cutscenes, this is an easy recommendation.
